Review: Goose Island Matilda Belgian Ale
Probably not the greatest Belgian Ale out there, but it is still a great beer. The wheat and citrus are nicely balanced and not over the top like some of the Belgians. One the better offerings from the Goose Island Vintage brews. Slip this in at a wine and cheese party and you might win over some wine snobs.

Review: Left Hand Brewing Co. Sawtooth Ale
Solid balanced Ale. Not overly sweet, nice and smooth. This is a good beer with a meal. Not too heavy.
Review: Hofbrau Octoberfest
Much lighter and paler than expected. I guess the definition of Octoberfest is different in Germany. The US versions are heavier and darker. Not that it is bad, it is very drinkable, just lighter than expected.

Toasted to burnt malt flavor, very hearty. Very happy to see these new beers from this historical brewery.

Review: Original Flag Porter
This Wonderful Porter is brewed for a recipe from 1850, with yeast salvaged from a shipwreck dating back to the 1800's. They were able to grow more yeast and came up with this amazing Porter.

Review: New Holland Dragons Milk
This is another one of the awesome "milkshake stouts". It tastes like chocolate and sweet malts and coffee.
Also a barrel aged stout that gives it all that much more of an interesting flavor.
If you see this draft somewhere make sure you give it a chance, but at 10% you should probably wait until after dinner and ready to call it a night !

Review: Mt. Carmel Copper Ale
I have now had this draft and from a growler. I think draft works better. This beer seems to get flat and warm very fast. Draft it tasted great and warranted another taste.
Review: Mt. Carmel Nut Brown Ale
Easily my favorite from Mt. Carmel. Sweet, nutty flavor. Goes down smooth with a Chocolate finish.
Review: Left Hand Brewing Co. Jackman's American Pale Ale
Great smooth pale not too hoppy good balance.

Review: Tucher Pilsner
A decent pilsner with an mild taster overall. Ended up with a pronounced bitter finish, possibly a bad bottle or starting to go.
