Review: Bell's Hopslam

Finally got a chance to try this elusive beer.  Crazy hoppy up front and then it mellows out. Very well rounded.

Review; Great Lakes Conway's Irish Ale

Always a favorite, sorry it is only available around St. Patrick's Day. Light taste of caramel and hops. A little sweet and hint of citrus.

Review: North Peak Brewing Diabolical IPA

Very clean taste, citrus and hops are there but not over the top. Good flavor, not outstanding.

Review: Left Hand Brewing 400 Pound Monkey

IPA
Very good has a sweet malt taste, rich and full bodied without being too hoppy.

BJ's Brewing Nutty Brewnette

Good strong Brown Ale. More roasted malt flavor than many Brown Ales.

Review: Murphy's Irish Stout

Not as full and rich as many stouts. I like the chocolate flavor, but that doesn't really make up for the slightly weak flavor,

Review: Shock Top Belgian White

Not my first choice, but when the other available beers are all "Lite" beers, there is not much of a choice. Not a real heavy beer, the citrus flavor is pretty mild.

Review: Blue Moon Winter Abbey Ale

Not a great Abbey Ale or a great Winter ale. The taste isn't bad, a bit weak, but it just doesn't stand up to any of the better Ales of this style.

Review: Samuel Adams Black & Brew Coffee Stout

Good coffee beer, lots of nutty chocolate with the coffee flavor in the finish.

Review: Samuel Adams Holiday Porter

Not the greatest Porter. A little too much coffee happening here. Also don't see anything that really makes this a "Holiday" porter.
