Review: The Bruery Autumn Maple

This is a spicy and sweet seasonal ale. Lots of different flavors going on, and they seem to change as you go.
Apparently they use 17 pounds of yams per barrel to make this seasonal brew.

Review: Rogue Dead Guy Ale

Probably one of my favorite of the Helles style Bock Beers. I like to bring this one to Halloween parties.

Review: Mt Carmel Amber

Very drinkable amber ale. Good session beer, smooth and light taste with a decent body. We really enjoy the many offerings from the local brewery Mt. Carmel

Review: Samuel Adams Oktoberfest

A good Oktoberfest with a sweet / malt blended taste without the alcohol flavor of some Oktoberfest brews. Great amber color with a sweet finish. Probably one of my favorite Oktoberfest offerings that is widely available/

Review: Rogue Shakespeare Stout

Much better than the Rogue cream ale thing. Sweet flavor leans towards an oatmeal stout. This is rapidly becoming my favorite stout.

Review: Blue Moon Belgian White Ale

So I had to try this wildly popular beer. Nice taste, some fruity elements, smooth finish, overall nice tasting beer. Not anything that really excited me. I will say I did not know at the time this was a Coors product and so that did not influence my review. It is a little cool that this is brewed here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

My sister (who admittedly drinks this beer on occasion) says "Blue Moon wishes it was Belgian white ale, but it's just a domestic substitute."

Review: Goose Island Pils

A nice pilsner. Might be a bit of a shock for the for the uninitiated, but they should come around pretty quickly to this great pilsner that shows what a true pilsner can be.

Review: Carlow Brewing O'hara's Celtic Stout

Not real sure what qualifies it a Celtic, but it is however, an excellent stout. It was also voted the #1 stout by the 2000 Millennium Brewing Industry International Awards. Take the time to check this one out.
