Review: Leinenkugel's Big Butt Doppelbock

This was a bit of a surprise. I wasn't aware it even existed. Nice full taste, love the rich malt flavor and clean finish. Not too filling, you could drink a few of these without a problem. I do have to say that while it is a good beer, it is not really a bock beer. I seems to lack the body of a true Bock beer.

Review: Samuel Adams Imperial Series Double Bock

Another surprise found as a single bottle and really liked it, good flavor, great roasted malt flavor.

Review; Larossa Birra Moretti

Very full, rich dark beer. It is great companion with a big plate of pasta but only have one. More than that and you won't have space for dessert.

Review: North Coast Brewing Scrimshaw Pilsner

Not a big fan of pilsners and this one did not do anything special for me. Very mild taste with not much in the way of flavor.

Review: Nut Brown Ale by Samuel Smith

I recently have had a chance to try this again and found it to be a great Nut Brown !!! Wonderful taste, not too sweet, very nice finish. I would have to say this moves up the list if not to the top of the list of the Brown Ales. My first experience with this beer was not that great, I was surprised to find it a bitter tasting beer with a nasty after taste. I truly believe I got a bad bottle the first time.
Easily my favorite Brown ale, possibly my favorite beer ever. Amazing flavor, sweet full finish.
